Independent Research and Development (IRAD) focused on solving DoD/IC technology challenges has been a great source of innovation for many years. 

Large companies serving the Defense and Intel communities dedicate significant time and resources to conduct IRADs. However, it is more rare and sometimes very complicated for Small Businesses to take on IRADs.

The aim of this panel is to provide lessons learned and best practices to help Small Businesses take on IRADs to advance innovative solutions and improve their outreach to their customers.
