Joseph Karolchik, President and co-founder of Nteligen, has over 30 years of experience in software engineering and strategic business development in the defense industry. His career includes leading R&D business efforts in enterprise defense applications and operations for Nteligen, as well as several large defense contractors, and he holds three patents in design of information security systems. Founded in 2010, Nteligen is recognized for its innovative research in defense, government, and commercial solutions that reduce the risk of sharing information, most notably cross domain solutions. Nteligen has a robust internship program that has won the AFCEA SIPS Award several times. Mr. Karolchik was key to developing and continues to support the AFCEA Central Maryland STEM Kickstarter grant program, which provides grants in support of K-12 STEM education initiatives in the central Maryland region. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Indiana University of PA and a MS in Technical Management from Johns Hopkins University, as well as PMP and Six Sigma Greenbelt certifications.
