Mr. Brown is a CTO in the Microsoft Federal National Security Group. His areas of specialty include cloud computing, big data and security. Prior to joining Microsoft in July of 1999, he was a technical director for enterprise architecture planning in an agency of the Department of Defense. Overall, Mr. Brown has over 30 year of experience designing, developing and implementing large scale mission critical systems for the US Federal government. Mr. Brown earned his Master’s Degree in Computer Science from UMBC in 1991 and his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from UMBC in 1988.
