Mr. Roy White has nearly 22 years of professional experience in information technology and has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Diverse Concepts, Inc. (DCI) since 2011. Currently serving as President of Independent Software Inc., after the early 2020 merger in which DCI became a wholly-owned Subsidiary. His superior leadership skills, collaborative work ethic, and keen attention to detail have provided both companies with ample growth since being elected as elected to his role. Mr. White began his career with the United States Air Force, attaining rank as Staff Sergeant (E-5 Non-Commissioned Officer) and working as a Personnel System Manager from 1999 to 2008. During his time in the Air Force, he completed several leadership and management courses that groomed him for his current position before receiving an Honorable Discharge with several prestigious medals of achievement. He studied at American Intercontinental University, earning an Associate’s Degree of Arts in Business Administration in 2008 and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networking in 2009. Mr. White completed several industry certifications along with graduating with the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce’s Veteran Institute of Procurement (VIP) and the Small Business Associations (SBA) Emerging Leaders program. As a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, he was nominated and awarded by his peers as the Top 40 under 40 in 2017, which brought global recognition for his accomplishments. Mr. White intends to expand upon his expertise and continues to excel in his career and elevate Independent Software Inc. to become one of the most sought after businesses in the industry.
